Ready to be a voice for your peers? For our inaugural PowerCore Governance Team, PowerSeekers members interested in joining may submit an application following the details below:

Ideal Candidates for this Role Will:

​

  • Bring a diverse range of life experiences, skills, and expertise to the table, reflecting the breadth of perspectives within our community. Ideally having training or experience relevant to community engagement, youth leadership, or related fields. This could include involvement in team sports, student council, budgeting, work experience, volunteer experience or other similar activities.

​

  • Have a passion for change and knowledge of one or more of the following: current environmental issues, biodiversity/wildlife and human-animal relations, social justice issues, equity, and climate change. ​

​

  • Have poise and strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work respectfully and effectively on a diverse team with a variety of people from different cultures and sub-cultures.

​

  • Be a well organized, self-directed team player, able to work independently and collaboratively with teammates to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.

​

  • Be ready to speak up and express ideas as a voice for your peers with clear and confident communication skills.​

​

  • Uphold values, meet deadlines, and take personal responsibility for actions, ensuring reliability and accountability.

  • Demonstrate personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to Prime Earth’s mission.
