Information Collected by PE
PE recognizes the important of protecting your personal information; it gathers personal information when voluntarily submitted by you online. When we refer to “personal information” we mean any information about an identifiable individual, whether it concerns your email address, where you live, your credit card or back account information where applicable. If you make a donation, personal information will be collected from you in order to process that donation and provide you with a charitable receipt. If you purchase any products from our website, personal information will be collected to process your request, and deliver the goods. If you make an online request for information, personal information will be collected from you in order to reply.If you choose to give us personal information, we will inform you of how we intend to use such information. We will not publish your name on our website without your permission. We will not publish your email address on this website. We will not distribute this information to others except as reasonably incidental to the purpose for which the information is collected. If you tell us that you do not wish to receive additional information from us, we will respect your wishes.
PE may use personal information collected from you online to send you information about new fundraising campaigns or initiatives, or updates about its public education and advocacy efforts. We may also send you the Prime Earth: What We Know e-newsletter, service announcements about the site, and invite you to participate in online surveys and contests. Nowhere on our website will we post personally identifiable information about minors without first receiving the express written consent of their parent or guardian.
PE currently uses third party service providers to [a] collect contact information for email communications (Mailchimp and Form Builder+ by POWr) and [b] process payments (Paypal and Square) with their own security and privacy policies. With the exception of these listed applications, PE does not use any other third party service providers. Any and all information collected at this site by Prime Earth Education will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, leased, loaned, traded, or otherwise disclosed to a third party except where that disclosure is incidental to the purpose for which the information was collected (as noted above). Any information you give on this site will be held with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented. PE reserves the right to divulge personal information if it is required by law.
